About the project. Online classes with Ukrainian teachers were launched on the Zoom platform at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Later, the project was expanded with English-speaking meetings with teachers from all over the world.
Teachers conducted lessons to support students and organize enjoyable leisure time for them. All that was needed was access to the Internet. During the classes, the children and the teachers sang, drew, discussed films and books, studied history, and virtually traveled worldwide. As of March 2023, 614 meetings were held, the total number of visits was 40,800, and 90 teachers participated.
The project aimed to support Ukrainian children who were displaced in different parts of Ukraine and the world, to distract them from the current situation, to allow them to spend time with their peers, and to get more profound knowledge on topics from the Ukrainian school curriculum.
